The series was praised for its setup and plot, but it was also chastised for its inconsistent portrayal. However, it is a good romantic series that will transport you to a historical period.

Many of you are probably thinking about and hoping for season 2 of the show.  The makers have not yet released the official dates for season 2, but with the previous season’s huge success, the makers are considering taking the love story further.

The audience will have to wait a little longer for the official release date of season 2, but in the meantime, they can watch season 1 if they haven’t already.

The Story of Tiger and Rose Season

The series’ plot revolves around a young scriptwriter, Chen Xiaoqian, who is currently working on her main script and screenplays. She has been so preoccupied with her work that she has neglected her meals and her health. She hoped to be paid for her work, but the actor who was supposed to play her main character did not understand the character’s setting. After being rejected with her character, she vowed to make it one of the best and began working on it again.

Her screenplay is set in two cities: Huaheng, where women predominate, and Xuanhu, where men predominate. Han Shuo is the main male character who has fatal heart disease and is engaged to Chen Chuchu, the second princess of Huaheng City.

He arrives in this city in search of the dragon bone that will cure his illness, but good things do not come easily. Chen Chuchu approaches her for assistance because he is smart and brave enough, but Chen Qianqian, the city’s third most despised princess, forces him to marry her.

He is supposed to poison Chen Qianqian in order to obtain all of the resources and conquer the city, but she must manage this in order for him to stop doing anything wrong. In the midst of love, there is anger, jealousy, battle, and war, and this is going to be a fantastic series.

In Season 2 of Tiger and Rose: Adorable Female Lead

There is no official plot for season 2 as of yet, but the creators can take their love stories further with some more interesting hooks.

Having the scriptwriter time-travel to the world she created ensures a plethora of roar-with-laughing minutes for the dramatization. It’s also extremely meta! Qian is constantly breaking the fourth wall to lament plot devices and terrible dramatization of figures of speech in her content. She frequently makes references to well-known contemporary shoptalk, which confounds various characters.

As the story’s author, Qian accepts that she knows what is happening and what should happen. As a result, while she means well to everyone, she quickly realizes that she has no control over who they love or how they think.

Qian is a sympathetic, enthusiastic, and devilish character. Despite her cunning, Qian is clueless when it comes to genuine love. She ignores the heartfelt signals from our male lead, who is constantly staring at her with doggy eyes. Zhao Lu Si, the entertainer, is fantastic at his job. She’s easily enchanted, and there’s just something about her that lights up the room when she comes on!

The End of Tiger and Rose’s Romance

Without a doubt! Despite its complex plot, the ending is rather nicely tied up in comparison to the usual mainland rom-coms, which tend to be fairly straightforward. However, it also leaves plenty of room for a second season because the main characters’ relationship could easily be expanded upon from where it ends.

Xiao Qian awakens from her dream near the end of the previous episode. In a car accident, Min Xing injures his lungs. When Chu Chu pierced Han Shuo with her sword in her dream, she also injured his lungs. Min Xing and Xiao Qian discover that they were having the same dream and experiencing the same intense feelings for each other.

On Min Xing’s hospital bed, they are happily hugging each other. Xiao Qian concludes her script with Han Shuo and Qian Qian as a loving couple, and Chu Chu becoming the Ruler of Huayuan City with the assistance of Qian Qian.

Where Can I Watch Tiger and Rose Season 2 Online?

Season 1 was released on Tencent Video with 24 episodes, and everyone enjoyed it. The series has not yet been renewed for a second season, but if it is, it will be released on the same platform.

Conclusion

The Romance Of Tiger And Rose is a quick and enjoyable read. There are only 24 episodes in total, which I think is a good length for a rom-com. It is pointless to bring out a rom-com unless there are interesting subplots to the story.

There is romance, but don’t expect a lot of kissing like in The Love By Hypnotic. “The Romance of Tiger and Rose.” Good pacing, energizing arrangement, and a wacky plot.
