Plot of “The devil is a Part Timer”

With the help of his demon generals Alciel, Lucifer, Malacoda, and Adramelech, the Demon Lord Satan aims to conquer the world of Ente Isla by annexing its four continents. After being faced by the hero Emilia and her allies, and after killing Malacoda and Adramelech, Satan and Alciel flee the planet of Ente Isla via a gate to modern Tokyo, Japan. Due to the lack of magic in the modern world, Satan and Alciel transform into human-like shapes. To make ends meet, Satan works part-time at MgRonald’s, a fast food restaurant, with Alciel as his housekeeper.

One day, Satan, now known as Sadao Ma, encounters a girl who is actually Emilia in the appearance of Emi Yusa. The plot then expands and delves into the personalities and moral ideals of each of the characters. More Ente Isla personalities appear, and they, too, face new world challenges, often humorously.
