Actress Neetu Chandra Srivastava is all set to make her Hollywood debut with ‘Never Back Down: Revolt’, the fourth installment in the multi-starrer action franchise.
Directed by Kelly Madison, the film also stars Michael Bisping, Brooke Johnson, Diana Hoyos and James Faulkner.
The project features Neetu as a fighter who is kidnapped and forced to fight in a mutilated underground fight to regain her freedom against a gang running a smuggling ring.
The actor, who is himself a martial artist, said that Never Back Down: Revolt was the perfect Hollywood launchpad for him.
“Never Back Down: Revolt came as a huge exciting project for me, being cast in my first Hollywood action movie is like a dream come true as I am a trained martial arts star and I have been doing a hardcore action film since childhood. What better way to start my Hollywood career than to start my Hollywood career with the action genre?
The actor is known for his performances in films like Oye Lucky! For producing Lucky Oye!, 13B and National Award winning Mithila Makhan (Maithili language film).
The 37-year-old actress said that she got the role because of her martial arts skills in the upcoming action film.
“Having mastered various forms of martial arts, and especially Taekwondo (4th dan), I practiced it for a long time. In the end, these skills have made me so strong physically and mentally that I Helped to play the role.
