Emraan Hashmi tests COVID-19 positive in Vienna, Austria. Confirming to Pinkvilla, the actor said that he did not have the virus for a very long time.

Describing the experience as a ‘gift of Vienna’, the 42-year-old actor said, “Turkey is a great place to shop. I even went to Vienna to shop. There are so many great heritage sites and nice churches. It’s fascinating.” I got covid there also for exactly four days. It was not a pleasant experience but my covid tenure was very short. I had it for exactly four days. But this is my gift from Vienna.”

The source speculates that Hashmi’s visit to Turkey and Vienna have some connection with Tiger 3. Thus, he asked her a question about being a part of the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-led film. To which he replied, “I was actually walking through the streets and watching the shoots. I wanted to get out and get an autograph, but I was heading towards the airport so couldn’t stop.”

Apart from this, Emraan Hashmi also smiled and described his trip to Turkey. “It was great. I bought some evil eyes out there, ate great food – assorted grills and stuff,” he said.

On the work front, Emraan Hashmi will be seen in Diabbook. Jay K. The horror thriller directed by Dybuk stars Nikita Dutta opposite Hashmi. Talking about his return to the horror genre, the actor said, “I’ve told myself for the longest time that I won’t do another horror film unless it surprises me as an artiste and makes a difference to the audience. Don’t do anything different.” informed and added, “Nothing excites me as much as I did. I am a huge fan of the original (Erza) and was impressed by what Jai (the director) did with the script by enhancing the horror. I came back So happy for the genre and it will take a few more years for me to return again.”

DybBooks is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 29.
