The Narcotics Control Bureau on Thursday visited the residence of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. NCB met his son Aryan Khan in jail hours after he met the actor, who was arrested in the Mumbai cruise ship drug bust case.

The actor reached the jail at Mumbai Central around 9 am and left at 9.30 am, the official said.

The jail authorities checked the actor’s Aadhaar card and other documents before entering the premises, officials said.

The Bombay High Court on Thursday said it will hear on October 26 a bail plea filed by superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in connection with the seizure of banned drugs on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast.

Aryan Khan’s counsel Satish Maneshinde on Friday mentioned the petition before a single bench of Justice NW Sambre, seeking urgent hearing.

However, Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh on behalf of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) sought time till next week.

After this, Justice Sambre fixed October 26 for hearing on the petition.

On that day, the HC will also hear the bail plea filed by co-accused Munmun Dhamecha.
