Cinema halls in Maharashtra will open on October 22, after the state government announced due precautions. Multiplex chain INOX Leisure Limited has announced to offer free tickets to all film viewers in Maharashtra.

Guests can get free tickets through the INOX website to watch any movie at all shows between 9 am and 10 pm. INOX is celebrating the reopening of cinema halls by thanking customers for their strong support through the pandemic.

on talking to News18Mr. Atul Bhandarkar, Regional Director – West, INOX Leisure Limited said, “As theaters in Maharashtra are finally ready to reopen, we would like to thank our patrons for the unconditional trust and love they have given us. “

He further added, “As a welcome gesture to our guests, we are offering them free tickets for all morning shows in the state of Maharashtra between 9 am to 10 pm on 22nd October 2021. As India is in the clutches of the second wave. Coming out of COVID-19, we are fully prepared and ready to welcome film lovers across the state.”

The Maharashtra government last week came forward to announce the reopening of cinemas in the state, keeping in mind the safety precautions. For this, the government had also issued guidelines.

As per the guidelines, only fully vaccinated guests will be allowed to enjoy the movie experience. The halls will have to function at 50 per cent capacity with everyone following the covid protocol. Guests are expected to cover their faces with masks, maintain social distancing and perform regular hand sanitisation. They should also cover their face while coughing or sneezing.
