“Succession” star Sarah Snook has revealed that she tied the knot with comedian and television host Dave Lawson in an intimate ceremony in February. The Australian actor said she stayed with Lawson during the COVID-19 lockdown last year and when they “fell in love” after years of being good friends.
Snook, who plays Siva Roy on ‘Succession’, told Vogue Australia in a cover interview, “We’ve been friends since 2014, live together, travel together, always excited to see each other , but are completely platonic.” “We’ve never been single at the same time. I proposed and we got married in February in our backyard,” she said, proposing to Lawson, 43, who is also Australian, last Halloween.
Talking about the hardships of the last year, Snook said, “It has been a ride. There is a lot of sadness and sorrow in the world, but on a micro personal level, I have been very lucky.” “There’s a really lovely grace to it that without the pandemic, we wouldn’t have ended up together so soon,” she said.
Snook’s “Succession” co-star Ash Zuckerman, whose character once had an affair with Shiva, served as a witness at their wedding. The third season of “Succession” premieres October 17 on HBO.
