Actor Ezra Miller on Saturday gave a sneak peek of the much-awaited superhero film The Flash, in which he returns as the titular superhero. Miller showed the first footage from the long-running project during the 2021 edition of DC FanDome, an online fan convention.

In a video message, the actor said that the film is still in production but he has made a short clip from the film, especially for the fans. “We are very excited to show you the film and we can’t yet because we are still making it. We wanted to show you a teaser, but we can’t because we don’t have enough material to make a teaser So far.”

“But we have this little glimpse that my maestro Andy (Muschietti) and I put together that we really hope you enjoyed and I see you in theaters at the end of next year or more importantly that you will see me,” said Miller.

The Flash is one of the most anticipated titles of the DC Extended Universe, partly due to the fact that it will once again star actors Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck reprising their roles of Bruce Wayne aka The Batman in the caped crusader. Will be seen repeating from their respective films. .

In the brief clip, Miller’s Barry Allen aka The Flash is seen visiting Keaton’s Batman’s Batcave and later traveling to the past to rescue his mother. This is followed by a scene of Miller showing off his new superhero suit.

In the closing moments, the teaser shows several versions of his character, who are later introduced to Keaton’s Batman, who turns his back to the camera but is recognizable by shots of his iconic cowl. In the final scene, Miller is seen pulling the sheets from Keaton’s Batman Batmobile.

Andy Muschietti of It Series fame is tackling a troubled superhero feature from Warner Bros., which has been in the works since 2016. Christina Hodgson has written the latest draft of the script in which Flash must travel back in time to prevent the murder of his mother, an act that proves to have unintended consequences for his timeline.

The Flash will also feature actor Keirsey Clemons as Iris West, Allen’s romantic interest, and Sasha Calle as Supergirl. Actor Ron Livingston plays Allen’s father Henry Allen, while Spanish star Maribel Verdu will appear as Nora Allen.

Flash is scheduled to release in the US on November 22, 2022.
