The teaser of regional film Jai Bhim is out. Starring Suriya, the courtroom drama is based on true events witnessed in the 90s.
Going by the teaser, it looks like the film will showcase the events without any exaggeration. The teaser of Jai Bheem lifted the curtain with Ed. The voice of Chandru (Surya) on the demand for the true story of a tribal woman. Where the plot lurks, it seems that Suriya’s character will fight for that woman while dragging Sarkar to court.
Directed by journalist-turned-filmmaker TJ Gyanvel, the film also shows the disturbing side of Indian law and order where police can be seen thrashing the tribe. The teaser of Jai Bheem does justice to a high-voltage social and political drama.
The teaser dropped on Amazon Prime Video’s official YouTube channel today (October 15) and has garnered 83k views so far.
Describing the film as close to his heart, Suriya took to Twitter to reveal the teaser. He wrote, “I firmly believe that true stories can make a difference in the society. Jai Bheem will be an intense story and is close to my heart.”
