On the auspicious day of Dussehra, Hrithik Roshan has started shooting for Vikram Vedha. The action film is the official remake of the 2017 superhit, the Tamil language film of the same name, starring Vijay Sethupathi (Vedha) and R. Madhavan (Vikram) acted.
The film also stars Saif Ali Khan along with the 47-year-old Krish actor. While Hrithik will play the role of a gangster in the film, Saif will play the role of a cop.
Announcing the commencement of production, film production company Y Not Studios wrote on its Twitter handle, “It’s started! #VikramVedha(sic).”

Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan also posted some stories on his Instagram handle. “Sharing my love with everyone starting a new day today,” he wrote in the first story, along with a heart emoji with “Good luck” in the second story. The shooting of the film started in Dubai.
Vikram Vedha will be helmed by the director duo Pushkar-Gayatri. He was also responsible for directing the original with R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. The Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha is scheduled to release on September 30, 2022.
