The second wave of the Coronavirus has disturbed the people of India. Closure and curfew conditions persist in most of the country. In such a situation, many companies have also stalled. The impact of the blockade is also being seen in the film industry. For this reason, the filming of many movies and shows has been stopped for the time being.
Now the eighth season of the famous Kannada reality show Bigg Boss has been canceled. The creators of Bigg Boss Kannada, which started in February this year, have decided to cancel the show due to the closure in Karnataka. This information has been provided by Parmeshwar Gundakal, commercial director of the television channel Colors Kannada, through social networks.
He shared a post on his official Facebook account on Saturday, stating that the eighth season of Bigg Boss Kannada has been canceled due to the complete shutdown in Karnataka since Monday. Parmeshwar Gundakal wrote in his post: ‘Today is the 71st day that Bigg Boss (Season 8) started. I am emotionally overwhelmed seeing 11 contestants in the house through these cameras. Everyone is happy inside this house because they are unaware of the problems that are happening outside. ‘
Parmeshwar Gundakal further wrote in the post: “They are also safe because they are all different. Everyone will be informed of what is happening outside and will be brought to light. All housemates and crew members will be safely taken home, and arrangements are being made for the same. The dreams and efforts of hundreds of people have been cut short. Although it was a very difficult decision, we are satisfied with it. Our heart feels heavy. Not because the show has been canceled, but because of an invisible virus that is causing the tragedy. ‘
At the same time, Bigg Boss Kannada host and famous actor Sudip were off set for the past few weeks while recovering from illness. However, it was not revealed what illness he suffered from.
