Famous and veteran Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan has also come forward once again to help people suffering from the coronavirus.

The chaos caused by the coronavirus in Mumbai has been going on for the past month. There is a continuous increase in the number of people infected with this dangerous virus. Thousands of people are vulnerable to the coronavirus every day. The situation has become such that there is a shortage of beds, oxygen and medicine in hospitals. In such situation, Ajay Devgan extended a helping hand to Coronavirus patients and transferred Mumbai wedding hall to Kovid Hospital.

This work has been done by Ajay Devgan with the help of his close friends in Bollywood. According to the news on the English website India Today, Ajay through his social services organization NY Foundation has helped to establish an emergency medical unit at Shivaji Park in Mumbai. The Shivaji Park wedding hall has been converted into a Kovid-19 facility with 20 beds, fans, oxygen support and paramonitors.

Joined by Ajay Devgan are filmmakers Anand Pandit, Boney Kapoor, Luv Ranjan, Rajneesh Khanuja, Leena Yadav, Ashim Bajaj, Sameer Nair, Deepak Dhar, Rishi Negi, businessman Tarun Rathi and action director RP Yadav. All these stars, including Ajay Devgan, together have helped BMC with Rs 1 crore so that people suffering from the coronavirus can receive good treatment.

Ajay Devgan gave this 1 crore rupee to BMC through the NY Foundation, a social services organization. Also last year Ajay Devgan was in the news for helping people affected by the coronavirus. He had extended a helping hand to the people financially. Let me tell you that in the last 24 hours in Maharashtra, 895 people died due to the Kovid infection. This figure is the highest ever recorded in one day. In the last 24 hours, 66,358 new cases have been recorded in Maharashtra. Maharashtra currently has 6.72,434 active cases. So far, 2,62,54,737 people have been tested in the state, of which 44,10,085 have tested positive. So far, 36,69,548 people have died due to the coronavirus in the state. At the same time, in Mumbai, in the last 24 hours, 4,014 new corona cases, 59 deaths and 8,240 recoveries were reported. The total number of cases is 6.35.541.
